Language Studies
Grants of up to £1,000 are available for graduate students and post-doctoral researchers of Jewish Studies to attend language study workshops or courses in order to gain or improve upon the language skills necessary for their research. Only the travel and tuition costs associated with the programme attendance will be funded in this category. To be eligible, post-doctoral applicants must have received their doctoral degree no more than 5 years before the closing date of the current grant round. Applicants must propose workshops and courses taking place after 1 July 2011 to be considered for funding.

If you are awarded a grant, you will be notified by the Foundation, however, the funds will be transferred directly to those institutions. These grants, intended to fund only the tuition and accommodation costs, will be administered by the institutions who will provide reports to the Foundation detailing the progress of the students we have supported.
